Hathway has been upgrading all its users to fibre by providing GPON ONT device over the past couple of years and with it they are giving custom branded modems. Atleast in Bengaluru I have see dual band devices are ZTE ZXHN F670L and for single band ZTE F602W. Hathway has modified the default username and password so the combinations of admin/password do not work.
Default username/password for ZTE F670L / ZTE F602W
The default username and password to login (http://192.168.1.1/) to these Hathway branded ZTE devices is the same:
- Username: admin
- Password: MAC ID (without dashes/hypens)
Identifying MAC ID
If you look at the backside of the device, there would be a sticker which would have a value against MAC, it would 12 character arranged in the format XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX. So you would be entering the password as these 12 characters without the dashes, i.e. XXXXXXXXXXXXXX.
In addition to the MAC, you will also see the GPON SN and D-SN which are not required in this case.
